Nestled on the shores of East Bali within its own private coastline bay, Seraya Shores is surrounded by natural beauty and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The calm and serene environment and proximity to the ocean invites students to refresh their bodies and relax their minds, whilst being free from any external disturbances. 

This beautiful property is meticulously designed to embrace you into the enchanting bounty, beauty and bliss of Bali. Each spacious room features an A/C and a private sitting area, along with a terrace overlooking the sea. Enjoy.

Our daily practice takes place in a beautiful open-air yoga shala constructed with a Balinese-designed structure with stunning views of the ocean and a refreshing sea breeze. After practice, take a dip in the stunning infinity pool, or a stroll along the beach, which runs along the edge of the property. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets every day in this tropical oasis. 

Fresh and local vegetarian food is prepared by loving hands in the on-site kitchen. Breakfast, lunch, dinner snacks and tea are all included, and will follow the yogic diet.

Only a few minutes drive from the beautiful shores of Virgin Beach, Taman Ujung Water Palace and Karangasem Royal Palace; and, close to amazing surf, snorkelling and diving spots, Seraya Shores will allow you to experience authentic Bali.

Mimi is an e-RYT 500-Hour certified Yoga Alliance, USA, Continuing Education Provider, who loves teaching yoga asana, anatomy and physiology and lifestyle. She received 200-Hour training in Hatha yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow in Guanacaste, Costa Rica; and 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India. When in the US, Mimi teaches private, public yoga classes and workshops at studios and corporations in Atlanta, Georgia, and in Little Rock, AR.  

Mimi teaches yoga teacher courses in Rishikesh, Italy, France and the British Virgin Islands. As a visiting teacher at Rishikesh Yogpeeth, Rishikesh Yog Sansthan, Adhiroha, YogaMea and Co.Inspire, she helped develop and enhance the yoga teacher training curriculum for the 200-, 300-, and 500-hour courses. Her love of yoga and of traveling inspired her to create destination teacher training courses in 2016, when she co-founded Swadhyaya Yoga School.

Mimi is trained in Ayurveda and holds two doctorates in Naturology, D.N. and Ph.D., from American Institute of Holistic Theology, Birmingham, Alabama. She studied various biological sciences at Yale University, Baylor College of Medicine, and New Mexico State University; and, hosts the podcast “SHIfT HAPPENS on the Path of Yoga.”

MIMI ADEOGBA Retreat Teacher


Brianna is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, 500-Hour certified yoga instructor and founder of Well Daily. After studying design and marketing at Ryerson University in Toronto, ON and working in the creative marketing industry for a few years, Brianna began to face personal health challenges, and it was then that she turned to alternative healing, and began her foray into yoga and holistic nutrition.

Brianna received her 200-Hour training in Hatha yoga and Vinyasa flow in Costa Rica. She then expanded her knowledge of the traditional roots of yoga while completing her 300-Hour certification in Rishikesh, India, where she studied integrated Hatha, Ashtanga and Iyengar. Brianna takes a hands-on approach to yoga, using her knowledge of anatomy to help students with realignments, while offering modifications for all body types and abilities. 

To deepen her knowledge of the body and its healing powers, Brianna earned a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Vancouver, BC. She then founded Well Daily, a health and wellness website and online business, where she offers business coaching, marketing consultations and social media support for companies looking to build conscious, authentic brands.

Brianna believes that wellness should be accessible and integrated into our everyday lives; she teaches corporate yoga classes, private sessions and wellness workshops in Vancouver, BC. Her love for travel and experiencing new places has also inspired her to lead yoga teacher trainings and retreats worldwide in the hopes of empowering others to take their health into their own hands.

The Plan


After you are greeted at the airport by your driver, you'll be whisked off to the lush oasis that is Seraya Shores. You'll kick off the yoga teacher training with a week filled with introductions — to your classmates, your teachers, the staff, the facility, as well as the course material, philosophy, anatomy and Hatha Yoga asana foundations. 

Our Opening Ceremony will welcome you into this lush, tropical paradise, characterized by deep spirituality. Each evening enjoy delicious, healthy group dinners and begin building lifetime connections with fellow seekers traveling the path of self-inquiry with you.

As the week unfolds, you will learn meditation practices, mantra chanting, cleansing practices, mudra, asana, pranayama. Each day begins with herbal tea, followed by your daily cleansing practices. On Sunday, enjoy an optional cultural experience such as excursions to a temple, water palace, postcard beaches, or trekking. 


As you deepen your awareness of Self, you will continue to be greeted with daily energizing Hatha yoga classes followed by wholesome and hearty breakfasts. After a bit of theory, unwind with sumptuous healthy daily lunches, and a study break, followed by methodology and lifestyle practices. End each day with Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, or Yin and a meditation practice. A delicious dinner and inviting, stimulating conversations ensue each evening. 

Enjoy a much lighter optional excursion on Sunday; embrace your inner "digital nomad" at a nearby, breezy café; or, join your classmates for some shopping and optional activities, such as waterfalls visits, local beaches, or temples.


Your spirit has been replenished and rejuvenated by your cleansing and meditation practice. You've conditioned your body and your mind; and you are now ready to begin sharing your teaching voice with others. Explore teaching to your classmates in small groups.

We discuss epic stories and ancient texts of India. We also explore the intimate connection between our breath and the electrochemical pathways of our bodies; understanding their influence on our spiritual practices. Enjoy your day off, study or join us for an excursion at the close of this week. 


With your stay in paradise coming to a close, you begin harnessing the power of your authentic teaching voice by leading your own asana class. You will receive gentle, constructive feedback from your classmates and teachers to assist you in evolving your teaching abilities and sequences. The training culminates in a special Closing Ceremony and a final tasty breakfast, where you'll say your goodbyes and depart.

Final payments are due 60 days before the start date of the training. 

If cancellation takes place within 7 days of booking the training, 100% of the paid training price, minus your deposit, is refundable. Cancellation requests must always be submitted in writing.

If you submit a written cancellation request less than 60 days from the training start date, unfortunately we cannot issue a refund for your deposit or the training itself. However, we can transfer the booking to another training of equal value, at no extra administrative cost.
