Nestled on the shores of East Bali within its own private coastline bay, Seraya Shores is surrounded by natural beauty and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The calm and serene environment and proximity to the ocean invites students to refresh their bodies and relax their minds, whilst being free from any external disturbances. 

This beautiful property is meticulously designed to embrace you into the enchanting bounty, beauty and bliss of Bali. Each spacious room features an A/C and a private sitting area, along with a terrace overlooking the sea. Enjoy.

Our daily practice takes place in a beautiful open-air yoga shala constructed with a Balinese-designed structure with stunning views of the ocean and a refreshing sea breeze. After practice, take a dip in the stunning infinity pool, or a stroll along the beach, which runs along the edge of the property. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets every day in this tropical oasis. 

Fresh and local vegetarian food is prepared by loving hands in the on-site kitchen. Breakfast, lunch, dinner snacks and tea are all included, and will follow the yogic diet.

Only a few minutes drive from the beautiful shores of Virgin Beach, Taman Ujung Water Palace and Karangasem Royal Palace; and, close to amazing surf, snorkelling and diving spots, Seraya Shores will allow you to experience authentic Bali.

Mimi is an e-RYT 500-Hour certified Yoga Alliance, USA, Continuing Education Provider, who loves teaching yoga asana, anatomy and physiology and lifestyle. She received 200-Hour training in Hatha yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow in Guanacaste, Costa Rica; and 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India. When in the US, Mimi teaches private, public yoga classes and workshops at studios and corporations in Atlanta, Georgia, and in Little Rock, AR.  

Mimi teaches yoga teacher courses in Rishikesh, Italy, France and the British Virgin Islands. As a visiting teacher at Rishikesh Yogpeeth, Rishikesh Yog Sansthan, Adhiroha, YogaMea and Co.Inspire, she helped develop and enhance the yoga teacher training curriculum for the 200-, 300-, and 500-hour courses. Her love of yoga and of traveling inspired her to create destination teacher training courses in 2016, when she co-founded Swadhyaya Yoga School.

Mimi is trained in Ayurveda and holds two doctorates in Naturology, D.N. and Ph.D., from American Institute of Holistic Theology, Birmingham, Alabama. She studied various biological sciences at Yale University, Baylor College of Medicine, and New Mexico State University; and, hosts the podcast “SHIfT HAPPENS on the Path of Yoga.”

MIMI ADEOGBA Retreat Teacher


Brianna is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, 500-Hour certified yoga instructor and founder of Well Daily. After studying design and marketing at Ryerson University in Toronto, ON and working in the creative marketing industry for a few years, Brianna began to face personal health challenges, and it was then that she turned to alternative healing, and began her foray into yoga and holistic nutrition.

Brianna received her 200-Hour training in Hatha yoga and Vinyasa flow in Costa Rica. She then expanded her knowledge of the traditional roots of yoga while completing her 300-Hour certification in Rishikesh, India, where she studied integrated Hatha, Ashtanga and Iyengar. Brianna takes a hands-on approach to yoga, using her knowledge of anatomy to help students with realignments, while offering modifications for all body types and abilities. 

To deepen her knowledge of the body and its healing powers, Brianna earned a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Vancouver, BC. She then founded Well Daily, a health and wellness website and online business, where she offers business coaching, marketing consultations and social media support for companies looking to build conscious, authentic brands.

Brianna believes that wellness should be accessible and integrated into our everyday lives; she teaches corporate yoga classes, private sessions and wellness workshops in Vancouver, BC. Her love for travel and experiencing new places has also inspired her to lead yoga teacher trainings and retreats worldwide in the hopes of empowering others to take their health into their own hands.

Awake to a lush, tropical paradise, and enjoy a wholesome and hearty breakfast. Experience a relaxing morning before invigorating your body with a heart-opening yoga class. After a delicious lunch, choose from a range of spa treatments to relax you before an intention-setting workshop. Finish the day with a dinner of healthy Indonesian dishes.

Fuel up on local fruits and homemade breakfast this morning before an optional nature excursion; or, simply relax by the pool. We will meet together for morning yoga practice and mantras. After a satisfying lunch, select a relaxing spa treatment — maybe reflexology or a massage — before our closing circle and meditation. We will enjoy our last supper together of homemade vegetarian dishes.

We provide two daily yoga Asana classes, which complement your relaxation and rejuvenation. Choose from Hatha yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow, Restorative or any of our other offerings. We provide a daily schedule of classes, so you can simply relax and enjoy your experience. Beginner to Intermediate instruction provided.

Guests may attend our lectures on subjects related to the yogic lifestyle and have the opportunity learn foundational breathwork and mantras. Guests may also join us for a Yoga Nidra or meditation session. (availability varies) 

Our retreats are a balanced mix of scheduled activities and free time.  Typically, you have the option to join two yoga classes each day – morning and/or afternoon. On average you can expect to have 6-8 hours of scheduled activities each day (including mealtimes) and the remainder of which is up to you. At your heart's desire you may chill at our infinity pool, take a dip in the ocean, enjoy a massage, or explore the surrounding area.

Yes. You can join our retreat if you are completely new to yoga. You will learn foundational postures, meditation, and breath work. There will be students of varying levels of experience and ages. Our instructors can modify and adapt postures to meet your level of ability.

Yes. Our guests come to relax with Swadhyaya Yoga School + Well Daily from all over the world from an array of cultures. To date, we have representation from guests from over 120 countries around the globe.

Guests can expect to practice Hatha, Ashtanga, and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. While the focus will be on these styles, we may also explore Restorative, Yin, and Iyengar yoga. 

Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga derived from one of the six schools of Hinduism. It is the science of yoga which purifies the whole physical body by means of shatkarma (six cleansing practices), asana (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), mudra (seals), bandha (locks) and concentration, as a prelude to raja (Kingly) yoga and samadhi (higher state of awareness commonly referred to as “bliss”). All of which are accessible during your retreat.

We value providing intimate learning experiences. This means that we typically limit the number of guests to around 20 per group. Our aim is to provide personalized experiences where everyone can interact and feel a sense of community. Past guests have developed deep connections and have shared with us about their soul enriching experiences. We attribute this to our intimate and high-vibration groups.

Final payments are due 60 days before the start date of the retreat. 

If cancellation takes place within 7 days of booking the retreat, 100% of the paid retreat price, minus your deposit, is refundable. Cancellation requests must always be submitted in writing. 

Cancel Under 60 Days Prior to Course Start Date

If you submit a written cancellation request less than 60 days from the retreat start date, unfortunately we cannot issue a refund for your deposit or the retreat itself. However, we can transfer the booking to another retreat of equal value, at no extra administrative cost.

Cancel 60-120+ Days Prior to Course Start Date

If you submit a written cancellation request more than 60 days from the retreat start date, you can be refunded for the cost of the retreat, minus your deposit. However, we can transfer the booking to another retreat of equal value, at no extra administrative cost.

We recommend everyone purchase travel insurance when planning their trip, and highly encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance. Look for terminology similar to, “cancel for any reason,” to protect against the rare chance of cancellation. We suggest Travel Guard Insurance or Kanna Travel Insurance and choose from several policy options.
